Teresa Barkley
Teresa Barkley was at a hair salon in March 2021, when a vehicle careened through the front of the building, pinning her between a cabinet and a wall. Teresa suffered a multitude of injuries. She had five surgeries since the accident, received a diagnosis of complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), ultimately undergoing below-the-knee amputation in 2024. Teresa turned to our vast care network, transitioning through different stages of recovery. Working with interdisciplinary teams across various specialties, she reached the final stage of her rehabilitation surrounded by support from our center. "I am now able to run on the AlterG for 25 minutes at 75% of my body weight," Teresa said. "This is something I haven't been able to do since my original accident." We are proud to have been able to support you through all stages of your journey. Thank you for choosing us for your care, Teresa.
