Ethelyn Briscoe
As a nurse, Ethelyn Briscoe was a natural at caring for patients, so much that she brushed aside her own pain for more than a decade. She finally decided to get back surgery, but a bad experience with her first physical therapy company left her with anxiety. After transitioning from a home-health rehabilitation company, Ethelyn began attending our Anna center for outpatient physical therapy. With the encouragement of the clinical team, Ethelyn is now able to walk without a walker. And she feels so much better about the physical therapy experience. Christie Manshack
Prior to her knee replacement, grandmother Christie Manshack was unable to participate in her favorite activities: gardening, camping and spending time with her grandkids. After surgery, she came to us for physical therapy. At first, Christie didn't know what to expect, if therapy would be painful or how long the process would be. That all changed once she was greeted by our team. Although she began with limited mobility and pain, especially while walking, she soon noticed a difference. Christie enjoyed making progress and experiencing new activities each day. "I can never thank [them] enough for getting me to where I am in only two short months," she said.
