Our Team

Alison Zimmer, P.T., DPT

Alison enjoys cultivating relationships with people and watching the progression her patients make in activity and mobility. Being a physical therapist runs in Alison's family. Motivated at a young age by her aunt who is a physical therapist, Alison and two of her cousins now share the profession. As a collegiate athlete, Alison became interested in how the body works which solidified her decision to pursue rehabilitation as a career. She graduated from the University of St. Augustine with a doctorate in physical therapy. She is Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) level I certified, Synergistic Dry Needling level II certified and is a ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation specialist.

Shawna McLaughlin, P.T., DPT

Shawna brings a positive energy as she creates an engaging, patient-centered and professional environment for the patients she treats. She enjoys treating a vast population, with most of her experience in general orthopedics and pre/post-op rehabilitation. She has, more recently, gained experience in vestibular and neurologic populations and would love to continue to expand her knowledge in those areas. Shawna states, "I have a desire to help individuals improve their function and accomplish their goals. I enjoy building meaningful, trusting relationships with my patients as we work together to rebuild their confidence and quality of lives." Shawna has received a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from California State University and doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for health sciences.
