Our Austin William Cannon center is located in the Stonegate One Medical Park on William Cannon Drive between West Gate Blvd and Manchaca Road.

We know that injuries are never scheduled, but relief can be. If you're injured, tired of having less mobility or experiencing aches and pains, let our licensed clinical experts help.  

We provide comprehensive outpatient physical therapy and speech therapy to individuals suffering from injury or pain associated with sports injuries, back/neck pain, joint problems, balance disorders and work-related injuries. Our therapists work with you and create an individualized treatment plan to help you quickly return to daily activities, work duties and recreational pursuits.

Our Team

Nicole Martin, P.T., DPT, COMT, OCS - Center Manager

Nicole Martin, P.T., DPT, COMT, OCS became a physical therapist in order to help people return to what they love. She is now a physical therapist and center manager at the Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Outpatient Therapy on William Cannon Drive in Austin, where she enjoys getting to know her patients and seeing them achieve their goals. Born and raised in San Francisco, Nicole now lives in Austin with her husband and two Australian Shepherds. She keeps busy hiking the Greenbelt, checking out new restaurants and coaching high school lacrosse. She has completed further education, including certified orthopedic manual therapy (COMT) training and a residency program, obtaining her orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) certification. "I use a holistic approach, focusing on manual therapy, education and exercise to encourage movement and return patients to the activities which they most enjoy!"

Charles Schneider, P.T., DPT, COMT, SDN

Charles has been a clinician since 2016. He graduated with his bachelor's degree from Angelo State University in 2011 and his doctorate in physical therapy from University of St. Augustine in 2015. During his time as a clinician, he has completed certifications in orthopedic manual therapy and synergistic dry needling. His path to physical therapy started at age 8, when he was attacked by two dogs in his neighborhood. He spent a year working to recover use of his shoulder and legs with an excellent physical therapist who made the experience fun and enlightening. This early exposure to the field helped direct him to this wonderful career, in which he can help people to return to functional mobility and improve lives.
