About

We've Moved!

Our Cedar Park East center is located at the intersections of E. Whitestone and Discovery boulevards. We are on the first floor of Cedar Park Medical Plaza, across the street from our previous location.

We know injuries are never scheduled, but relief can be. If you're injured, tired of having less mobility or experiencing aches and pains, let our licensed clinical experts help.

As a multi-disciplinary therapy center, we offer physical, occupational/hand and speech therapy for individuals with musculoskeletal conditions, including strains, sprains and post-operative care. Our staff of licensed therapists specialize in orthopedic, neurological and cancer rehabilitation. We will work with you to craft an individual treatment plan to help you quickly return to daily activities, work duties and recreational pursuits.

We are proud to serve our community, providing each person an exceptional experience that promotes healing, recovery and return to an active lifestyle in a safe, progressive and compassionate environment. Request an appointment and experience the power of physical therapy today.

Our Team

Troy Winward, P.T., MSPT, FAAOMPT, Center Manager

Troy is a physical therapist with Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Outpatient Therapy at the Cedar Park East location where he treats the general orthopedic population. During high school and college, Troy suffered various sports injuries and became interested in physical therapy as he went through his own treatments. He enjoys helping people overcome their injuries and returning them to their favorite activities.

Alexis Huddleston, P.T., DPT

Alexis' interest in physical therapy began with a variety of minor sports injuries while growing up. She was intrigued by "the why" in the ways her physical therapist treated her injuries and was amazed at how quickly she felt better and could return to sports. Now, Alexis is a physical therapist and center manager for Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation outpatient therapy in Cedar Park. She is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise and dry needling certified. Two of Alexis' favorite quotes help guide the way she treats her patients: "helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person," and "there is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up."

Kraig Reik, P.T., DPT

Kraig works to provide quality care focused on each individual patient's needs. From Leander, Texas, Kraig is dedicated to giving back to the community in which he was raised. Kraig is particularly passionate about treating patients with neurologic disorders and balance impairments. He says, "I decided to pursue a career in physical therapy to provide quality, optimized care in my community. Seeing and hearing the progress each person obtains makes each moment worth it."

Katie Gerschke, OTD

Katie is passionate about helping individuals lead more independent and fulfilling lives through client-centered, evidence-based occupational therapy. Originally from Milwaukee, she was a member of her college's women's golf team and has always valued meaningful participation in daily life. Her motivation stems from a deep desire to empower others to overcome challenges, regain function and engage in the activities that matter most to them. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in French (2023) and earned her doctorate in occupational therapy from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, in 2024.
