Our Waxahachie Chenault center is located next to the Surgery Center at the intersection of the W Highway 287 Bypass and Solon Road.

Our Team

Ryan Thornton, P.T., DPT - Center Manager

Ryan Thornton, PT, DPT has been a member of Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation since 2017. He specializes in endurance athletes, concussion management and post-operative shoulder injuries. Ryan completed his undergraduate education and received a doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Evansville. He is also trigger point dry needling certified and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Ryan is originally from the St. Louis area and enjoys watching his hometown Blues on the ice. He is a trail runner and has completed races ranging from a 5K all the way to 100 miles. Ryan enjoys spending time relaxing at home with his wife and three dogs. "Every patient who comes in will receive an individualized program, and we will work as a team to reach their goals."

Eryn Redmond, P.T., DPT

Eryn brings a friendly and outgoing approach to the patients she treats. She possesses a passion and experience in post-surgical rehabilitation and vertigo/concussion disorders. She received her master's and doctorate degrees in physical therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. With more than 20 years of experience, she is a clinical instructor for physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students, and specializes in general orthopedics, post-surgical rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion rehabilitation and IASTM.

Danette Stewart, MOT, OTR, CHT, COMT

Danette has been an occupational therapist for more than 32 years and a certified hand therapist for more than 22 years. She is certified in orthopedic manual therapy from the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine, certified in blood flow restriction from Owen's Recovery Science and is dry needling certified from Integrative Dry Needling. She received her master's degree in occupational therapy from Texas Women's University. She is an upper extremity specialist and also treats overhead athletes. Danette enjoys helping people return to their daily activities. She wants to help people return to living, not just through existing but by finding enjoyment in their daily lives.
