About

Our Waxahachie center is located on the 2nd floor of Professional Plaza 1 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Waxahachie at the intersection of I-35E and Highway 287.

We know that injuries are never scheduled, but relief can be. If you're injured, tired of having less mobility or experiencing aches and pains, let our licensed clinical experts help.

As a multi-disciplinary therapy center, we offer physical, occupational/hand and speech therapy for individuals with musculoskeletal conditions, including strains, sprains and post-operative care. Our staff of licensed therapists specialize in orthopedic, neurological and cancer rehabilitation. We will work with you to craft an individual treatment plan to help you quickly return to daily activities, work duties and recreational pursuits.

We are proud to serve our community, providing each person an exceptional experience that promotes healing, recovery and return to an active lifestyle in a safe, progressive and compassionate environment. Request an appointment and experience the power of physical therapy today.

Our Team

Kathryn Seeber, P.T., DPT, NCS - Center Manager

Since 2017, Kathryn has been dedicated to her career as a physical therapist, helping people improve their quality of life. She currently specializes in treating patients with neurological diagnoses, including brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries and other acquired neurological conditions. She finds the most joy in her work when she is able to help people gain their mobility and regain independence — to be able to live the life they want to live. Kathryn currently resides on a farm in Terrell with her husband, where they raise sheep, llamas, chickens and bees. In addition to managing their livestock, she has a passion for gardening and cooking.

Amy Reed, P.T., MPT

Amy brings 27 years of experience to the patients she treats. She was born in Waxahachie, Texas and returned to her home town to work and be part of the community she loves. Amy has practiced yoga for 14 years and feels this adds value to her patient care. Amy treats a variety of patients, with special interest in orthopedics, joint replacement, oncology and Parkinson's disease. She has a clinical instructor certification from Texas Consortium for physical therapy clinical education, LSVT BIG Certification from LSVT global and is ReVital Cancer Certified.

Laura Smith, P.T., DPT, FAAOMPT

With more than 21 years of experience, Laura brings age and experience to the patients she treats. Laura was born in Bridgeport, Texas, and was raised in DeSoto, Texas. Laura treats patients of all conditions with an emphasis on patients with orthopedic needs. Her educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Hardin-Simmons University, a master's degree in Physical Therapy from The University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio and a doctorate in physical therapy from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She is a certified in ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation, LSVT BIG and manual therapy.

Judith King, OTR, CLT

Judith has over 20 years of experience as a occupational therapist. She is certified in ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation and is a lymphedema therapist. Kristi Damrill, OT/L, CLT-ALM

"I am passionate about helping people be the healthiest version of themselves and to thrive through cancer treatment and survivorship. I am also passionate about educating people in health and wellness to help prevent cancer. It is rewarding when I am able to see my clients return to independence, reduce pain, feel more confident again and return to the activities that bring them joy." Kristi was born and raised in California, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
